So now that we know we need to redirect, what do we do when that shift brings up all the uneasy feelings? The best advice I can give you is this: replace the bad habit with something that actually moves you toward your goals.
It’s not easy. Trust me, there are moments where I’m like, “Ugh, but I don’t wanna!”—but that’s when I remind myself: mind over matter. Yes, discomfort sucks. Yes, the old habit is easier. But real change happens when you push through.
And please, take note—these transitions? They are not cute. It’s not some glowing, soft, Instagram-worthy healing era. No, girl—it’s messy. It’s depressing. It’s anger. It’s overeating or not eating at all. It’s crying on the bathroom floor. It’s feeling completely lost. But here’s the thing—those ugly moments? They are powerful. They are calling you to create.
Think about some of the greatest art in history—it was birthed through pain. Music, paintings, poetry—some of the most raw, honest expressions of the human experience come from struggle. Look at modern poets—Tupac Shakur, Amy Winehouse, Kurt Cobain. (Side note: why did I just name all dead artists?? Moving on… 😅) But you get the point.
My friend, take that pain and do something with it. Write it down, turn it into art—let it ignite a fire in you that propels you toward your goals. When you’re at the bottom, the only way is up, so keep pushing. Let it out in a way that frees you, not consumes you. Because that’s the real test of redirection—not just pushing through, but transforming through it.
Now, let me ask you—what is a dangerous comfort for you? What are you still holding onto that no longer fits who you are becoming? You’ve outgrown it in more ways than one, yet it lingers. This could apply to anything—your home, your relationships, your job, your eating habits, even the way you entertain yourself.
So, how do you transform from within so that it radiates into the world around you? How do you create a shift so deep that it alters your life course? I invite you, my friend, to sit with this. Reflect. And most importantly—ask your spirit guides for some… well, guidance! Because that’s literally why they’re here, my loves. You don’t have to figure this out alone. 💫
